John Muir

Country Exceutive for Canada, GE Energy

 

John Muir is GE Energy's Country Executive for Canada and is responsible for their commercial activities and growth agenda in Canada.

 

John has 30 years experience in the power generation industry, the last 17 with General Electric and has held positions in: Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Service and Information Management.

 

In addition his activity with the Energy Council of Canada, John is vice-chair of the Toronto Board of Trade's Electricity Task Force and is the chair of the National Electricity Roundtable's Export Committee.

 

John attended the University of Waterloo and graduated with a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
