Vice President of Sustainable Development

TransAlta

Bob Page (PhD) is TransAlta's Vice President of Sustainable Development

since 1997. Prior to that he was Dean, Faculty of Environmental Design

(1990-97).

Dr. Page has been active domestically and internationally on issues

relating to environmental management and policy, especially climate change

and emissions trading.

He is past Board Chair, International Emissions Trading Association

(Geneva) and Board Chair of BIOCAP Canada; he serves on the following

boards: International Institute for Sustainable Development; Clean Air

Strategic Alliance of Alberta, and the Pew Center on Global Climate

Change, Business Environment Leadership Council (Washington, D.C.).

He is an author of books and articles and as an Adjunct Professor

supervises graduate students for the University of Calgary.
