Chris Huskilson

Chris began his career with Nova Scotia Power in 1980, and has a well-earned

reputation as an innovator and leader in the energy industry. Chris has

extensive experience in thermal, hydro and tidal power generation, and has

held a variety of senior operating positions throughout his career. In 2004

he was made president and CEO of Emera, the parent company of Nova Scotia

Power. Chris is a member of the Executive of the Canadian Electricity

Association; First Vice Chair of the Energy Council of Canada; the Board of

Governors of the Nova Scotia Community College; and Vice Chair of the Board

of the Greater Halifax Partnership. He serves as Chairman of Bangor

Hydro-Electric Company. He holds a Masters and Bachelor of Science in

Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.
