France Pégeot
Visting Executive, EnCana
After two years in the Québec Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, France Pégeot joined the federal government in 1990. She has worked in regulatory and policy areas in various departments, including Consumer and Corporate Affairs (now Industry Canada), Health Canada and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
Most recently, she was in the Privy Council Office where she worked with the secretariat supporting the Cabinet Committee of Operations and, prior to that, led the team which supported the work of the External Advisory Committee on Smart Regulation. Since April 2005, she has joined EnCana Corporation in Calgary for a one-year Executive Interchange between the private and the public sectors. She holds a science and a policy analysis degree from Laval University.
