Over the past 15 years, Liz has accumulated a wealth of experience in the field of residential demand side management. In 1990, Liz joined Eaga Partnership Ltd, newly established to work with UK governments, mainly in the low income sector. Since then, Eaga has assisted almost 6 million households in the UK and is now the largest organization of its kind in the world.
Liz has held several senior management positions within Eaga and has designed and delivered energy and water efficiency projects on behalf of utility companies, government and social housing providers. Liz played the lead role in designing and securing Eaga's largest utility contract, a 150million pound partnership program on behalf of British Gas and social housing providers across the UK.
In September 2003, Liz moved to British Columbia with husband Andy, to assist with the development and growth of Eaga's business acquisition, Homeworks, one of the fastest growing home services company in Canada. Liz currently sits on the advisory board for the "Skills Training Enterprise Program", a new capacity building initiative for the construction industry and is also a member of the BC Sustainability Forum, a group of leading industry experts from across the province, whose remit is to drive progress and action within the field of residential energy efficiency.
