Robert Hornung
President Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA)
Robert Hornung is the President of the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) and represents the interests of CanWEA members in a variety of fora. He is responsible for facilitating and implementing the development and advocacy of CanWEA policy positions as well as CanWEA's internal and external communications activities.
Prior to joining CanWEA, Mr. Hornung worked for nine years with the Pembina Institute, an environmental research and advocacy organization specializing in energy and enevironment issues. While at the Institute, he served as Policy and Communications Director and Climate Change Program Director.
Mr. Hornung has also worked on the climate change issue with the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, Environment Canada, and Friends of the Earth Canada.
