The Energy Council of Canada is Canada’s national vehicle for strategic thinking, networking and studies on national and global energy issues, representing members across Canada’s energy sector. As a founding member of the World Energy Council, the Energy Council of Canada is very pleased to be marking its 90-year anniversary under the leadership of Chair Colin Andersen and President Graham Campbell, working closely with Marie-José Nadeau, the Chair of the World Energy Council, WEC Chair.

OTTAWA, Oct. 21, 2013 /CNW/ - October 21, 2013 - The Energy Council of Canada is proud to announce that Emera Inc. and Nalcor Energy's, Presidents and CEOs, Chris Huskilson and Ed Martin, are joint recipients of the 2013 Canadian Energy Person of the Year Award.

The 2013 Canadian Energy Person of the Year award will be presented on October 23, 2013 in Halifax, Nova Scotia jointly to Chris Huskilson of Emera Inc. and Ed Martin of Nalcor Energy.
